Mammals, birds and Earth Day 🌍 !
Good morning everyone!
Today is Wednesday and on Wednesdays we have Natural Science class. Do you remember the characterisctics of mammals and birds?
Mammals:
- Mammals are vertebrates.
- They are Viviparous (they are born from their mummies' womb and drink their mummies' milk).
- Most mammals have got hair 👱or fur 🦁 on their bodies to keep them warm. Aquatic mammals have 🐳 bare skin.🐬
- They can be carnivores, herbivores or omnivores depending on their food sources.
- All mammals breathe air with their lungs.
Birds:
- Birds are vertebrates.
- They are oviparous (they are born from eggs 🥚).
- They have got feathers.
- All birds have got wings, but not all can fly 🐧)
